Kubernetes: Part 2, Interview

In this part, we will talk about Kubernetes-related interview questions.

On purpose, I will not use any kubectl commands, because I want you to build intuition, not memorize a cheat sheet.

Debugging

A good interviewer will mainly ask "if things do not go as you expected, what can you do?"

Let's tackle the most common things we can do.

Pods Do Not Start

With kubectl, you can describe the pod and find Reason, which gives you a hint: ImagePullBackOff if it cannot pull the image, or Out Of Memory if the Node simply has nowhere to put it.
