First day — ask your Engineering Lead about all the permissions you need. Then take that list and go to someone on your team who's been around a while. Ask them what access they have. Copy that list.

You need access to everything as soon as possible. Virtual machines, remote desktops, Kubernetes clusters, Jira, ArgoCD, backoffices, Kibana, Google Cloud, AWS — all of it.

This will help you move fast and build momentum from the beginning.

Every day, check the status of your permissions and push for them.
