Home assignments are a lazy filter, but they're not going away. So let's be smart about them.

Note: In this chapter I will refer to the real tech task one big hotel booking (🤫) company gave me. The original was 4 pages. Here's the summary:

Build an API endpoint that takes a search query (location, dates, price range) and returns a list of hotels sorted by average review rating, highest first. Hotels and reviews come from two separate in-memory data sources. Each hotel in the response includes basic info plus all its reviews.
